The Avelta Mechanical Road Broom (AVL-MRB) sweeps loose dust, grit and debris off the road surface before a prime or tack coat, so the bitumen bonds properly. A wide cylindrical wire brush, driven through a gearbox and mounted on a height-adjustable steel frame with rubber tyres, gives a fast, even, hand-free clean.
Built tough for continuous Indian road work, the AVL-MRB is towable or tractor-mounted with simple screw height adjustment and easily replaceable brush segments.
